About This Product

Vegam Interior Emulsion is engineered to deliver rich, consistent colour across all interior wall and ceiling surfaces. Its advanced acrylic binder ensures excellent adhesion to plaster, concrete and gypsum board surfaces, while the low-VOC formulation keeps indoor air quality safe from day one.

The soft sheen finish enhances colour depth without creating glare — ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, offices and hospitality spaces where appearance matters as much as performance.

Anti-bacterial additives inhibit mould and mildew growth on the paint film, making this product particularly well-suited to kitchens, bathrooms and humid climates.

System Coverage

Coverage is theoretical and will vary based on surface texture, porosity, application method and operator skill. We recommend calculating at 120 sq ft/L for project estimates.

Application Steps

Surface Preparation

Ensure walls are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and loose particles. Fill cracks with Wallcare Putty and sand smooth once cured.

Allow putty to cure fully — at least 24 hours — before priming.

Apply Vegam Interior Primer

Apply 1–2 coats of Vegam Interior Primer to all surfaces. Allow each coat to dry fully before proceeding.

Primer coat is essential to ensure adhesion and uniform topcoat absorption.

First Coat

Dilute up to 10% with clean water. Apply evenly using a roller or brush. Work in sections to maintain a wet edge.

Apply in one direction first, then cross-roll to eliminate roller marks.

Second Coat

Allow the first coat to dry for a minimum of 4–6 hours. Apply second coat without dilution for maximum colour intensity and coverage.

Two coats are minimum for system warranty. A third coat may be needed for deep tones.

Clean Up

Clean tools with water immediately after use. Dispose of waste paint responsibly.

Pro Tips

—Apply in shade or mild temperatures — avoid direct harsh sunlight during application or drying.

—For deep or vivid colours, use a tinted primer base to reduce the number of topcoats needed.

—Stir thoroughly before and during use — do not thin below recommended levels.

—Touch dry and recoat times assume 25°C and 50% humidity — adjust for Indian climatic conditions.
